FAQ

  • How do I know that I’m doing the exercises right?

I tend to start with the safest and least complex exercises possible, particularly if you are new to the gym environment. These would include using the machines at the gym such as leg extension or chest press. Each given exercise is provided with the video demonstration. I often ask my clients to film how they are doing some of the exercises and send me the video. 

  • Do I need to bring my phone into the gym, or how do I know what to do in there?

Yes, the program is delivered via google sheets. You will use the free app to track the exercises that you do at the gym, so I can instantly see your progress. For the weekly “check ins” I recommend filling in data on your computer, this should not take you longer than 10-15min.

 

  • How will I assess your progress?

While some of us might be working on the aesthetic body goals the others may simply want to get stronger. Either way, we are taking body measurements on the forthrightly basis of body parts such as waist and hips. I will also be checking your progress at the gym, that shows me how you get through the exercises and if the intensity is increasing.

 

  • Will I need to track my food and calories?

Depending on your relationship with food, I will most likely ask you to track 2-3 average days of the week for at least some time. This is the most precise way for me to understand what your diet is like. I recommend using the free MyFitnessPal app. The other options are taking pictures of your food, making a diary or hand portion sizing. While these methods are good, they might not be as precise as the actual counting. Please note, the more accurate info you give me, the more I can help you.

 

  • What is the minimum amount of time that I can do the online coaching?

The minimum is 8 weeks. I do not promote weight loss challenges but rather focus on the lifelong lasting changes and so you cannot expect fast 2 week results. We focus on the small gradual changes on the weekly basis that fit your lifestyle and are manageable for you. If working on a weekly basis is not something that you are up for, I can offer you a different timeline, however, it works best if we stay in touch every week.
